Prof. Dr. Tatjana Volkov-Husović is a full professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, where she has been continuously employed since 1990 and has held the rank of full professor since 2012. She earned her BSc in Metallurgical Engineering, followed by an MSc (1994) and PhD (1999) in the field of refractory materials and thermal stability. Her academic and professional experience spans teaching at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, curriculum development, and extensive mentorship of doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate theses. Her research interests focus on materials science, particularly the synthesis, characterization, fracture resistance, thermal stability, and damage mechanisms of refractory and ceramic materials, as well as visual information quantification. Prof. Volkov-Husović has authored or co-authored 124 scientific documents, including high-impact journal papers, monographs, technical solutions, and a registered patent.
