Dr. Pallab Sarmah is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Technology, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He obtained his Ph.D. in Composite Materials and Advanced Machining, following an M.Tech. in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Automation, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. His primary research interests include metal matrix composites, non-conventional machining processes, additive manufacturing, and sustainable materials processing. Dr. Sarmah has held academic and research positions at reputed institutes and contributed to several sponsored projects focused on energy and materials innovation. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals, conferences, and edited books, with an h-index of 6, over 21 research documents, and around 102 citations. His editorial and peer-review roles in recognized journals demonstrate his scholarly influence in the engineering community. Dr. Yue-Feng Lin is an accomplished researcher and academic specializing in intelligent manufacturing, semiconductor material processing, and precision machining.
