Dr. Khosro Mabhouti is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Urmia University, Iran, with an h-index of 12, more than 543 citations, and over 29 published documents indexed in Google Scholar. He earned his higher education in Physics, specializing in Photonics and Semiconductor Laser Dynamics. Dr. Mabhouti has extensive academic and research experience in semiconductor lasers, nonlinear optics, nanomaterials, and nano-photonics, focusing particularly on structural, magnetic, dielectric, and optical properties of doped ZnO, NiO, Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles, and perovskite oxide systems. His notable scientific contributions include studies using Kramers–Kronig analysis, Urbach energy, Z-scan technique, Nicolson–Ross–Weir X-band measurements, impedance spectroscopy, and laser chaos control in external-cavity semiconductor lasers. His research has enabled advancements in photonics, optical communication systems, electromagnetic material design, and random number generation via semiconductor laser dynamics. He has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams and supervised graduate research in nanotechnology and laser physics. Dr. Mabhouti has received recognition for impactful publications and contributions to optical material characterization and laser stability control. His continuing goal is to enhance the performance of optical and electromagnetic devices for advanced photonic and nano-electronic applications, contributing to scientific innovation and engineering progress.
