Prof. Dr. Beitallah Eghbali | Physical Metallurgy | Best Researcher Award

Sahand University of Technology | ran

Dr. Beitallah Eghbali is a distinguished materials scientist and academic at Sahand University of Technology (SUT), Tabriz, Iran. He earned his B.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, his M.Sc. from Tarbiat Modares University with a focus on the hot rolling effects in ultra-high strength steels, and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering on grain refinement in microalloyed steels through thermomechanical processing. He also completed a visiting research program at Deakin University, Australia. His research interests include thermomechanical processing of steels and alloys, severe plastic deformation, grain refinement mechanisms, multilayer composites, and the relationship between microstructure and mechanical properties in metallic systems. Dr. Eghbali has published extensively in international journals and serves on the reviewer board of the Journal of Alloys and Compounds. Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards for research excellence, including several “Selected Researcher” distinctions and the “Superior Ph.D. Thesis” award. His scientific contributions have advanced the understanding of microstructural evolution and mechanical behavior in advanced metallic materials, combining experimental and analytical approaches to enhance the performance of industrial alloys and promote innovation in materials engineering.
